Use Formlabs PreForm print preparation software (free to download and try) to import STL or OBJ part files, orient and arrange models, estimate print times, monitor your printers, and upload job files. PreForm’s part packing algorithms can automatically arrange many models in a build.

During setup and printing, an intuitive Touch UI walks you through every step. The touchscreen displays a live stream of the print bed so you can watch each new layer take shape. SLS 3D printing fuses nylon powder layer by layer. The unused powder supports the parts during printing so you can create complex, interconnecting designs with no need for support structures. With patent pending Surface Armor technology, a semi-sintered shell that prints around the surface of the part, the Fuse 1 provides competitive mechanical properties and surface finish without the prohibitive cost or hassle of competitor systems.

Our all-in-one powder recovery station, Fuse Sift, combines part extraction, powder recovery, storage, and mixing in a single device. Produce fully-functional parts at a 30% powder refresh rate—with unlimited cycles. This means you can print with up to 70% recycled powder. Fuse Sift will dispense and mix used and new powder automatically so you can reduce waste and control your powder supply.

Designed for nonstop throughput.
Add a second removable build chamber, compatible with the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift, to enable continuous printing and reduce downtime. Industry leading cooldown times allow you to start a print 1–2 hours after your previous print has finished.

Fuse Sift 120V/230V

The Fuse Sift is a safe, efficient powder recovery system for the Fuse 1 3D printer. This easy-to-use, all-in-one station combines part extraction, powder recovery, storage, and mixing in a single free-standing device, for the most functionality in a single device available on the SLS market.

• Compact, enclosed system: A negative air pressure system keeps powder inside while enabling open access and easy cleanup.
• Low waste: A 30% material refresh rate means you can print with up to 70% recycled powder, indefinitely. Fuse Sift’s sieve filters out particles to be remixed with new powder and reused in future prints.

Fuse 1 Build Chamber 120V/230V

Reduce downtime by transferring modular build chambers and powder cartridges between the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift for a nonstop, cyclical workflow.

Each Fuse 1 includes one build chamber, compatible with the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift. Keeping an extra build chamber in your toolkit allows you to run a new print as soon as a previous job is completed. After completing a print, remove the build chamber from the Fuse 1 and load it into the Fuse Sift for cooling, part extraction, and material reclamation.

Fuse 1 Printer Stand

This steel stand raises the Fuse 1 to an ergonomic height, keeping the printer stable and level while enabling easy access to the print chamber and touchscreen display.

Industrial Vacuum 110V/230V

The Fuse Sift powder recovery station incorporates an external vacuum, sold separately, to help you efficiently, safely maintain a clean workspace. The integrated hose and controls allow you to easily tidy up your workspace, clean off a build chamber, or remove debris from the sifter mesh.

Due to potential hazards associated with powders, a static dissipative vacuum that is NFPA 652 compliant is required. This Class II Division 2 vacuum fulfills all safety requirements for the Fuse Sift.

Fuse 1 Powder Cartridge

Reduce downtime by transferring modular powder cartridges and build chambers between the Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift for a nonstop, cyclical workflow.

Use the powder cartridge to load material dispensed from the Fuse Sift into the Fuse 1 hopper. The powder cartridge is also used as a mixing vessel when combining fresh and used powder.

Fuse 1 Replacement Exhaust Air Filter

The Fuse 1 uses an exhaust filter to remove sintering byproducts from its exhaust.

Fuse 1 Replacement Intake Air Filter

The Fuse 1 uses an intake filter to remove potential contaminants from air being drawn into the printer.

Fuse 1 Optical Cassette

All SLS printers require operators to clean the optics before every print, which often involves disassembling complex systems. The Fuse 1 protects its optics with an optical cassette designed for tool-free removal and installation.

Each Fuse 1 includes two optical cassettes, so you can seamlessly swap a used cassette out for a clean one to quickly start another print.

Fuse Sift 150 Sieve

During part extraction on the Fuse Sift, unsintered powder is dislodged and funneled into the sifter below the workspace. This sieve filters out any small chunks or debris to keep the powder clean. The reclaimed powder can then be stored in a dedicated hopper until mixing with fresh powder for the next print.

Fuse Sift HEPA Air Filter

A HEPA filter is used in conjunction with the Fuse Sift air handling system to filter out powder. This enables the Fuse Sift to maintain negative pressure under the hood and minimizes potential mess in the workspace.
