New 3D Printer Materials from Stratasys: Agilus30 and Nylon 12CF

Stratasys recently unveiled two new advanced materials for rapid prototyping – Agilus30, a PolyJet material, and Nylon 12CF, a FDM material.

Agilus30
System Compatibility: Objet260/350/500 and Connex1/2/3 3D Printers

Agilus30, which is available in black and translucent colors, is a flexible PolyJet material that offers enhanced tear resistance, standing up to repeated flexing and bending, and superior rubber-like quality.

You can 3D print rubber surrounds, overmolds, soft-touch coatings, living hinges, jigs and fixtures, wearables, grips and seals with improved surface texture.

FDM Nylon 12CF
System Compatibility: Fortus 450mc

Stratasys’ first carbon fiber-filled FDM material, Nylon 12CF, provides a very high tensile strength and an unprecedented stiffness-to-weight ratio making it ideal for advanced rapid prototyping functional performance testing.

Nylon 12 is primarily used in aerospace, automotive and consumer goods industries for everything from tooling, jigs and fixtures to covers, panels and vibration resistant components. It enables new applications requiring repetitive snap fits, high fatigue resistance, strong chemical resistance and press (friction) fit inserts.
