6 Tips to Help You Get the Most from FDM 3D Printing Materials

  • ABS-M30 – general purpose plastic for concept models, functional prototypes, and jigs and fixtures
  • ASA – standard production grade thermoplastic that comes in 10 fade resistant colors
  • Nylon 12 – engineering grade plastic known for toughness, superior elongation of break, and isotropic mechanical performance
  • ULTEM 9085 and ULTEM 1010 –advanced mechanical and thermal properties combined with a very high strength to weight ratio, making these materials ideal for aerospace and automotive prototyping
